Foreign Doctors Help Woman who Fainted on Metro
May 26, 2014 By eChinacities.com

A 57 year old woman recently fainted at People’s Square station on Line 8 of the Shanghai Metro, but luckily there were two foreign passengers, who also happened to be doctors, in the vicinity. They came to her aid, as a young Chinese woman volunteered to act as an interpreter.

A Chinese Traditional Doctor also stepped in and gave her a simple massage to relieve some of the discomfort. The woman was found to have high blood pressure and regained consciousness before the ambulance arrived. She insisted that she was OK and walked out of the Metro station.

Later she told the police the foreign doctors caused her to faint and she is now awaiting compensation.
