David Beckham Offered 12 Million RMB to Appear on Chinese Reality TV Show
May 19, 2014 By eChinacities.com

David Beckham, who is huge in China, has been offered a staggering 12 million RMB to appear on the Chinese reality TV show, Dad, Where Are We Going? Although, Netizens are skeptical that ol’ Golden Balls will accept the offer.

The show, based on the Korean original and set in Hunan, follows celebrity dads around as they take care of their children. It is understood that the money and time are not a problem for Becks, but that the language barrier and the fact that it coincides with the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil might be obstacles to his participation.

[Editor's note: The article originally stated that the amount offered was 1.2 million. This has since been corrected. We apologize for this mistake.]

Not convinced 1.2million RMB is "staggering" for him. How much do they pay Chinese "celebrities"?

1.2 million RMB may be a staggering amount for normal people but let's face it, old Golden Balls and the stick insect probably earn that in a day between them! You'd need to add a couple more zeroes for it to get interesting!
