Harbin Does Its Part for Earth Day with No-Pants Subway Ride
Apr 24, 2014 By eChinacities.com

April 22, or Earth Day as its otherwise known, saw people around the world taking part in activities to promote environmental awareness. Harbin was no exception with groups of young foreigners and Chinese alike going bottomless, all for the sake of our planet.

The event took place all over the world with over 3,000 people aged between
3 months and 71 years taking over the New York subway system yesterday. The stunt started 12 years ago and has been gathering momentum ever since.

Onlookers were puzzled and amused by the trouser-less commuters on the morning trains and pictures quickly circulated on Weibo yesterday .

Obviously chinese have found going nude as a solution to all their problems, first the students of that Guangzhou/university going topless over a females rights thing and now over this. STRIPPING IS NOT A SOLUTION PEOPLE :-D

There is no connection between the No Pants Subway Ride movement, and raising awareness for environmental issues. I don't know who's more stupid, these idiots or the people at Shanghai Daily for writing the article "confirming" the connection.

Oh dear. I'm not sure if I should be laughing or crying. So, Earth Day is meant to focus on environmental awareness. And China's youth 'did its part' by .... taking off their pants? Can someone please explain the connection to me? What is the relevance? Did they understand what protecting the environment means? Or did they prefer to focus on their narcissism, grasping at this weak excuse to challenge their inhibitions? Do they feel that protecting the environment would make everybody poor and pants-less? Did wumaos try to make it difficult for people to spread environmental awareness by decreeing this ridiculously embarassing stunt, which also happens to detract from the people's credibility? This is so f***ing stupid... I need to think of something else, before it gives me a headache.
