No more Partying for Party Officials in Guangdong

No more Partying for Party Officials in Guangdong
May 12, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Poor government officials. First their whiskey was taken away and now, dancing. The Guangdong Municipal Commission recently released the Ten Commandments’ of anti corruption, a list that details things that officials are now forbidden to do, once of which is entering nightclubs.

Guangdong is the latest province to jump on board with Xi Jinping’s austerity drive with new measures that will ban officials from going clubbing, paying for services in cash and parking government issue vehicles at golf courses.

Debauchery and excess among officials is notorious in China and many measures have been put into place since Xi Jinping came into power. The measures are probably a good thing, in light of the recent events involving officials and their bad habits, including one official who drank himself to death on his first day at work.

A small improvement is always better than no improvement. Respect to Xi Jinping.

oh look he eats like a normal person! oh he wears common clothes! oh he says that china will be friends with neighbors! wow he wants to end corruption! He is going to save us all from terrorists! Fix the environment! Spread the wealth! It certainly is a small improvement. I wouldn't vote for him but i'm sure he would still get in because he has that smile to match his promises.

If you wouldn't vote him, who else would you vote for in China? 'Bad' is better than 'Verry Bad'.
