New Laser Speakers Direct Sound- May Be Solution to Dancing Ayi Problem
Apr 30, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Oh dancing Ayis what’s to be done with you? The eternal problem of the dancing middle-aged ladies and their blaring music may have found a solution, thanks to some genius researchers at Fudan University.

The researchers have developed speakers can reportedly concentrate sound and direct it at a certain area, meaning other people nearby won’t be disturbed. This is great news for the Ayis of China who have previously been set on by dogs and shot at for their continued insistence on blasting their music in public squares.

The speakers are estimated to costs between a few hundred to a thousand RMB, but as yet aren’t commercially available, so this solution is still a way off.

The fact is there is no resentment against the AYIs dancing which is a good form of exercise and social activity but its the inconsiderate attitude that irks the people which the AYIs knowingly knew that it would disturb the residents around the area.

Yeah, this won't work. The problem is that the dancing old women have no choice but to blare music obnoxiously loud. It's that they don't care. They would have to first acknowledge the existence of other people besides themselves, and then, care about the interests of others.

Seeing old people making their late life days meaningful, it gives me hope for the time when I will be old too. It gives me the proof that every age has its chance to joy and happiness. Close your grand parents in the loneliness of your houses, prevent them from enjoying their evening dancing and you will tell your children how to treat you as a parent at such a noble age. If you end up abandoned in the loneliness and misery of the old age, then it shouldn't be surprising to you. Prevent them from the joy they can get in the way they can and you will give a straight message to your kids: old people, grand parents are a disturb. Your kids will learn this lesson and will do it to you as well and even worst. China it's still family orientated, a value that I find it noble and worthy of admiration and respect. However, going this way you will clearly set up the kids on the path to despise and see their own grand parents a trouble to their own life and anybody else's.

The so called bother that old dancing people bring to the today's Chinese generation it's the embarrassment that will be brought on them by their own children. The message is there, outspoken and endangers the future of the following generations. When the old people turn to be a trouble, there is little hope for better in the future.

Although I understand the endeavor of the younger generations to cutting lose their future from the conservative mentality of their own grand parents, making of them the object of the hidden despise of the old values, it's not the right way. How ever the solutions to the dancing Ayi in the public spots is dealt with, the straight message is despise against them and it will return in the despise of your children against yourself. This hidden hate of the the old values, the good ones, it will fire up more reasons to keep marginalizing and making of them no use at all.

Keep up with this "good job" people.

I agree with you, the old women don't bother me. When I am out at night, I sometimes stop and watch. Considering the size of most apartments here, people need to be outside. Most of the time they are finished at a reasonable time.

That's a reality too and I have never experienced it so closed as you did. I wonder how would that affect me at night, when I want to sleep. It makes sense what you're saying.
