Shenzhen Traffic Police Start Using Undercover Vehicles to Observe Traffic Violations
Apr 25, 2014 By eChinacities.com

The Shenzhen traffic police officially announced yesterday, April 24 that they would be operating undercover to secretly monitor traffic violations.

From the outside, the cars will look like ordinary cars but they will actually be equipped with industrial grade high definition cameras to catch dangerous drivers red handed.

The cars will be stationed at main intersections and will be on patrol 24 hours a day, which will hopefully deter people from late night speeding and drunk driving.

In the future, we will all have a car. In the future, cars will all have a license plate. In the future, car owners will all be registered. In the future, high definition camera's will guard traffic. In the future, traffic rules will be implemented. In the future, offenders will be held accountable for their behavior. In the future... or was it somewhere else? It all of a sudden sounds so damn familiar...
