On March 30, Ethiopia Airlines officially began a direct flight service between Addis Ababa and Shanghai. The new routes, using the Boeing 787 model, are the first ever direct flights to the African continent from Shanghai, opening up a whole new world of travel and business opportunities.
The overnight flight takes a very reasonable ten hours, making it one of the less grueling long haul travel options.
