Man Fishes Coins Out Of Temple Fountain With Magnet

Man Fishes Coins Out Of Temple Fountain With Magnet
Mar 11, 2014 By eChinacities.com

A thief in the night struck a temple in Nanjing, where he found a creative way of stealing money. The temple has a fountain where one can go, make a wish and throw in a coin for good luck. One man saw this as his opportunity to cash in.

The main tied a magnet to a piece of string and used this to fish out the coins. He had collected a fairly big share by the time the monks saw him and began to chase him. Despite the bag of coins slowing him down, he refused to sacrifice his loot. In the end he was too slow for the monks and security guards. He was arrested and taken into custody.

I used to believe that magnet doesn't attract coins. Apparently this guy had done some research before apprehended for being a thief.

Somewhat creative - next time, try applying that brainpower towards more constructive goals. Did you know there are ways to benefit in this world without directly taking away from others?
