A young wild boar living on Jiuyao Mountain near Hangzhou’s West Lake made a break for it yesterday and jumped into the lake for a swim. He must have regretted it as soon as his hooves hit the icy water.
A tourist visiting the lake, Hangzhou’s central point and main attraction, saw the top of the boar’s head protruding from the water and thought it was a fish. On closer inspection she discovered its true identity and called the authorities.
The not so little young boar tried to swim away from his captors but after only half an hour his legs were exhausted and he gave up. He obviously skipped leg day at the gym.
