Man Takes Photo of Traffic Accident Before Helping

Man Takes Photo of Traffic Accident Before Helping

We have all heard the stories of good Samaritans being blamed and/or sued when they try to help someone who has been in an accident. This awareness has lead to people preferring to stand around and watch rather than help. On February 11 a traffic accident occurred in Jiangsu, when a man riding an electric bike knocked down a fellow motorist. He was preparing to help the woman up when he heard her say “headache,” at which point he abandoned her, jumping on his bike and driving off. Passersby tried to take pictures of the man driving off but he was going too fast and the photos all came out blurry.

The only person who came to her aid was was Xiao Guohua, a 60 year old Authority Affairs Administration worker. He said that he was driving with some friends to dinner when he saw the girl lying there. People were watching her but no one helped. Knowing that good Samaritans were often blamed, when he got out of the car to help he took pictures of the scene, and only after did he help her up. Of his decision, Xiao Guahua said, “you have to protect yourself”

And the one who documented the case ? what he was doing there ? :D :D :D I always love it, how all the case of not helping each other are well documented by photos of those, who do not dare to help too...

it is sad that the only person who went to that woman's aid felt the need to protect himself by taking pictures first to prove he was not involved. clearly no-one else thought of taking pictures of the man who caused the accident, as they were too busy looking.
