Suspended Death Sentence for Baby Trafficking Doctor

Suspended Death Sentence for Baby Trafficking Doctor
Jan 15, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Zhang Shuxia, a doctor in Shaanxi Province, who was at the centre of a baby trafficking ring that spread across several provinces, has been convicted and given the death sentence with a two year reprieve (which usually means the death sentence will be changed to life imprisonment after two years) for her role.

She would tell parents that their newborn had congenital problems and persuade them to give them up. She would then sell the babies to middlemen, who in turn would sell them for a higher price.

Between November 2011 and July 2013 she sold seven babies to middlemen. Six of them have been returned or rescued by police. The seventh, which was given up voluntarily by the parents and then sold for 1,000 RMB in April later died.

If I was a leader and in charge of that, I would give an order to take off her eyes first and bury her alive, such kinds of people make the world to be a bad place for living! they must be punished hard.

Hope they suspend the suspension for this one. It takes a parent to imagine the true horror of what she did.
