An early miracle for 2014 from Guangxi Province, though the story starts off the very opposite of a miracle. On January 1, Mr. Zhang took his one year old daughter, Xiaomei, to a wedding in the next village over. The wedding was going well and Mr. Zhang was having a grand old time. His daughter sat next to him the whole time and everyone was in good spirits.
Mr. Zhang went off to get his daughter some food, but when he came back she was missing. Gathering all the people he could, they began the search but she had somehow vanished. The police were contacted and alerts went out to surrounding villages.
Xiaomei was eventually found two days later after an old man saw a child’s shoes when he was out collecting firewood in the forest, and contacted the family believing they might be hers. She was found with not a scratch on her, just covered in mud and a little dehydrated.
Police said they were lucky as the weather had been unusually warm for this time of year.

I'm surprised they didn't blame a 'waiguoren' or a 'laowai' for this.
