Chongqing is now playing home to China’s only master farrier, Arthur from Ireland. Arthur grew up in the countryside, surrounded by horses and started making horse shoes at age 12, and in 2010, a then 24 year old Arthur, had gained a masters degree in farriering.
The idea of moving to China came from a friend in Ireland and in March this year he arrived in Chongqing. There are only 144 people in the world who have a masters degree in farriering, and Arthur is the only one in China. With the horse business growing in China, he has enough work to keep him busy, and has been flown around the country as well as to Korea.

Internships would be easy enough, but I wonder what kind of research paper one would write on farriering, in order to qualify for a Master's Degree. I hope his opinion's are tame and unprovocative, or the rich elite he caters to might choose to have a more cuddly dancing bear in his stead. Then he won't be flown around the world anymore...
