Foreigners wishing to renew or extend their temporary visas for tourism, to visit relatives or for medical purposes, must pre-apply for the visa online before handing in their documents.
The online application can be made on the online pre-application system (http://61.144.19.120/ELSPafv/). Once the online application has been successfully processed, applicants can go to the Guangzhou Entry-Exit Building to apply for the new visa. Applicants who do not have internet access, can complete the online pre-booking form on the third floor of the Entry-Exit Building instead.
