Sometimes a parent should not get involved in their children’s’ problems, especially if their only solution is murder. It just makes things worse. In Xinyi, Jiangsu Province a local cadre’s father tried to help out his son and deal with his complaining neighbors. What was this father’s solution? Hire a contract killer.
Sixty-eight year old Liu Guiyu, father of four sons, is from a small village in Jiangsu Province. His third son is a cadre in Xinyi. The ill-fated couple also lived in the village and was prone to complaining about the boys’ various illegal activities. The proud and loving father, Liu Guiyu, didn’t like this much.
In March of this year Liu Guiyu met Sun Siyou while gambling at the home of his second son. Sun Siyou had learnt martial arts and let’s just say he was flexible with the law. Liu Guiyu was a fan of these particular attributes, and using them to his advantage asked Liu Guiyu if he could ‘deal with’ the hassling couple. After giving it some thought, Sun Siyou agreed and as a reward Liu Guiyu said he would forgive Siyou’s 10, 000 RMB debts.
The two men then begun to plot murder. Sun Siyou would make friends with the couple, go over to their house, learn their routines and then report back to Liu Guiyu. Once he gained their trust he would then wait for an opportunity to kill and destroy their bodies. The time came on April 14. Siyou went over to the couple’s house, struck them in the back of the neck, knocking them unconscious, and then he bludgeoned them to death. Once they were dead and the door was locked Sun Siyou fled the scene.
On May 5 both Liu Guiyu and Sun Siyou were caught and charged but as yet have not been sentenced. Liu Guiyu’s cadre son is probably wishing he wasn’t connected to this story. So parents stay out of your kids’ fights. It is better for everyone, especially for those in the firing range.

This father over-protected his son with this extreme method. A father should teach his son how to solve problems in a proper way. On the other hand, the relation between neighborhood becomes worse in China now. Think about the life in 20 years ago, that time people treat their neighbor as their friends.

Well I am definitely NOT going to complain about my neighbours. May they drill through concrete walls and floors at any desired hour, move furniture around at 2am, take never ending baths from 10pm onwards, tear signs from my door, steal my bicycle, light fireworks at any time, any place and they can even take a pee on my doorstep. Not a peep shall pass my lips!!
