If you think you’re alone in China, think again! A foreign couple in Shanghai must have forgotten that people love to take photos of unusual things and post it online for the world to see.

On September 1, a netizen called @frida1986 spotted a man and a woman in the back of a taxi letting their affections, ahem, roam free. According to the netizen, the woman was very much in charge, sitting on top of the man and kissing him. She also reported seeing the woman move in an up and down motion while sitting on the man.

However, the driver of the taxi later stated that while the couple were indeed very affection towards each other, no intercourse took place. “The incident occurred at 1pm. Of course nobody would do something like that. It’s very common to see foreigners hug and make out but I concentrate on the road ahead of me. I wouldn’t interfere in their privacy,” the driver was quoted as saying.

The same can’t be said for the nosy netizen who uploaded the picture online.
