A Qingdao man recently experienced a hangover he’s likely never going to forget.
On August 8, a man surnamed Jiang got drunk and decided to take a little nap in a container at a shipping yard in Qingdao at around 4am. At around 7am that morning, Jiang was suddenly awoken when the container he was in began moving and swinging from side to side. Realizing that these weren’t the symptoms of a terrible hangover, Jiang found himself trapped in a sealed-off container being readied for shipment.
Jiang immediately called his colleague who then alerted the police. As Jiang didn’t know his exact location, a large man-hunt involving over 40 police officers and 60 local workers was launched. Jiang eventually found a bar code in the container which allowed rescue workers to find his location.
By 9.30am, workers located his container which had been stacked on top of three other containers 20 meters high. It was also located in the 8th row between many other container stacks. It took half an hour to get to Jiang’s container but in the end he was successfully rescued and came out unscathed.
According to workers, his particular container belonged to an American company and was destined for shipping back to the US the very next day.

He should be thankful he had a cellphone and that the battery was charged enough to keep communication. If he didnt have a cellphone, or one that was not charged...in all probability he would have died from the heat and dehydration.

Lol, but this doesn't sound like the type of thing I would do at a party. It's more like what would happen if I got drunk on a Bad China Day, and then saw an open crate ready to be shipped to the US (my native country).
