A 21 year-old University of Melbourne student was involved in a horrific head-on car crash which saw him fall into a coma for 17 months. When Ben McMahon, who studied Chinese at high school, awoke from the coma he found that he could miraculously speak fluent Mandarin.
Recalling his awakening, McMahon stated, “When I woke up seeing a Chinese nurse, I thought I was in China. I just started speaking Chinese, those were the first words that left my mouth.”
After his story became well-known, McMahon has been recruited as one of the hosts of Australian-based Chinese language show Ao Ma Ga (Oh My God), which aims to bridge Australian and Chinese cultures together.
Since waking up, McMahon has also organized Chinese tours for Chinese visitors around Melbourne.

Well if he already studied Chinese before than why couldnt he speak fluent Chinese. This is a stupid story. There is no miracle here.

Every time after I woke up from a anesthesia after surgeries, I was speaking Chinese also ! i am European, studied Chinese by myself, lived in Chian many years.
