From July 1, Shenzhen Airlines began employing the use of new makeup for its air hostesses. The company has dubbed the makeup as the “Most beautiful, vibrant makeup in the 20 year history of the airline.”
Netizens have been quick to criticize the new look however, and have likened the makeup to something straight out of a horror film. From the photo you can see the hostesses have applied thick, blood-red lipstick and a layer of ghost-white foundation on their faces.
One netizen commented, “For night flights, it’s best not to go with Shenzhen Airlines, it’s too scary. It’s just like experiencing a horror movie for free.”
