At around 16:00 on July 4, a woman jumped onto the subway tracks at Guomao Station on line 1 of the Beijing Subway in a suicide attempt, though despite three train carriages passing over her, she miraculously climbed back up to the platform unharmed.
A witness surnamed Li stated, “When the train was about two or three meters away, the woman suddenly jumped down. Many people gasped in shock, and despite the train hitting the breaks, three carriages still passed over her body before it stopped.”
When the train came to a complete stop, subway workers rushed to the scene, and told her not to move because of electric currents. She refused to take their advice however, and tried to climb back up the platform. When she climbed back up, there was a brief struggle with some workers and the police, but was eventually taken away.
Beijing Subway officials have promised to install protective shield doors on line 1 to prevent such incidents from happening again.

you see Chinese people don't know how to defend themselves verbally in this forum because it's not their native language that's why you guys keep bashing them left and right, please bare in mind that you live in their country. Some criticism is ok and please be objective, but don't start being judgmental about every incident. If I say as a white person that I know what it is to be black being discriminated, then I'm an idiot, No I don't shit what they are going through.
