The news regarding the China sewer baby has shocked and stunned as all, though it’s always nice when stories such as these have a (kind of) happy ending, even if they are bizarre and totally unpredictable.

Somewhat out of the blue, Romanian striker Adrian Mutu, who used to play for Chelsea and Juventus, has expressed his desire to adopt the poor baby after being touched by the story. “I couldn’t figure out how to carry on living or how to eat my breakfast when I saw this story on TV. He’s a special child. When I saw this baby I said ‘I must adopt him, he has been sent to me by god.’”

The charismatic footballer already has three kids, though may meet difficulty when he finds out that Romania is one of 17 countries whose people cannot adopt Chinese citizens.

actually Romania is not one of 17 countries that can adopt children's from china....only 17 countries can...... At present there are 17 countries that have established cooperative relationship with China in inter-country adoption. These countries are: U.S.A., Canada, U.K., France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Only citizens of these countries can adopt children from China
