Splash: Shijiazhuang School Forces Students to Donate Sperm?

It’s already been a pretty eventful week for risqué sex-related stories in China. We’ve seen the low-brow servicing of a guy on the Taipei metro and poor air stewardesses forced to wear maid outfits during flights to name a few. Well, it seems that the sexy antics are not done with quite yet! This time, it’s a Weibo post detailing a Shijiazhuang college that forced some of its male students to donate sperm that went viral on April 24.

According to the post, 40 students were coerced into donating, though the school has since denied any wrongdoing, stating that they were simply taking part in a “semen quality survey”. Said semen was then apparently stored in a sperm bank and later analyzed to measure sperm count.

The school has insisted that the surveys were carried out with consent and were totally voluntary. The jury’s still out on this one, as netizens remain highly sceptical…
