Forbes Reveals 75% of Well-Off Chinese Want Their Kids Studying Abroad

On March 28, the Chinese edition of Forbes published an article stating that the amount of affluent Chinese citizens (those with personal assets between 100,000 and 1 million USD) rose to 10.26 million in 2012. On average, each of these people were able to invest a sum of 1.33 million RMB per year. The article stated that 30% of these were born in the seventies. 20% of these were planning on immigrating, while 75% of these hoped to send their children abroad to study.

Here's another problem Zhang didn't identify when talking about Chinese placing too much importance on learning English. If the Chinese education system was vastly improved then citizens with money might think twice about sending their kids overseas to learn. There's no beter crtitic than the one using the system.
