British punk band Public Image Limited (PiL) will play a gig at Beijing’s Yugong Yishan on March 30. Lead singer John Lydon needs little introduction: he’s the former lead singer of The Sex Pistols, forming the PiL after the band dissolved in 1978. PiL are known for their more post-punk sound which differs from the youthful anger expressed by the Sex Pistols, and are sure to please punk fans across Beijing with their first ever performance in China.
