Mar 08, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Following a fight with his girlfriend, a foreign man committed suicide, jumping out of an eighth-story window in Shenzhen’s Longgang District the morning of March 6. Paramedics and police rushed to the scene, but the man was dead on arrival. The police are currently investigating in incident, although homicide has apparently been ruled out. It was reported by the local media that the previous night, the foreign man (31 years old) and his Chinese girlfriend, surnamed Lao (34 years old) went out for dinner. Following dinner, the man went to a nearby bar, leaving his girlfriend in the car. After waiting for several hours, they went home, where the man continued drinking. Upset with his behavior, Lao and the man quarreled for a while, with Lao saying that she no longer cared about him. Unexpectedly, the man turned and jumped out of the window.

Well if you can confirm the bit about him drinking in the bar while she sat in the car, we can put all the conspiracy theories to bed. Who does that?

So he "fell to his death" and then "police rushed to the scene"? I suspect those things happened in a different order.
