Young Henan Woman Ages Dramatically After Giving Birth
Jan 21, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Born in Henan in 1985, Mrs Hu got married when she was 21. Two years into the marriage, she gave birth to a boy, though after the birth she noticed that the skin on her face had become slightly loose. At the time, she thought it was natural for women who had just given birth to experience such effects. After half a year however, she noticed that the skin on her face was getting really wrinkly, leading her to see a doctor. She was then diagnosed with an ultra-rare skin disorder called Cutis Laxa, a condition which only has several known cases across the world. After being diagnosed with the illness, Mrs. Hu’s self-confidence has understandably suffered huge blows, and she has difficulty going out and even looking at herself in the mirror. There is currently no known cure for the disorder, with the only option for sufferers being surgery.

Yes, it is a devastating disease, especially for a young woman because it is so disfiguring. There are only a few hundred such cases world wide. This illness is either hereditary or can be acquired later in life. There are four different types. Even babies and infants can have this.

That's dreadful! I just ask for God to help her find the way to be strong and be at peace with herself. I only imagine how humiliating and hard to bear this might be for her. Such things, as many in the world should never happen.
