The Chinese Center for Disease Prevention and Control Center reports that Beijing has now entered the dreaded “flu season”, with cases of Influenza A H1N1 and H3N2 subtypes expected to be on the rise. In recent days, there have already been two reported cases of H1N1-related deaths in the city.

How is China going to effectively deal with bird flu pandemic when it can't even get its people to not spit in public and practice good personal hygiene.

"expected to be on the rise" by whom? Not by me anyway as this is not normal at all. Influenza is not a common cold and it cannot be expected to be on the rise. Normalizing the abnormal through mass media...nice try!
