On the evening of July 10, Apple announced that the new iPad with retina display will go on sale in China on July 20. Besides the aforementioned addition of a retina display, the new iPad model has WiFi and/or 3G capacity and comes in black and white. The 16GB model costs 3688 RMB, the 32GB costs 4488 RMB and the 64 GB will retail for 5288 RMB. Customers can reserve a new iPad on July 19 and choose a pick-up time starting July 20. Pick up times are 9:00-12:00.
